1. The core principle
AI provides guidance. You remain responsible for your decisions. Orion Grant is software that organizes information and explains options; it does not decide anything on your behalf and it never acts on an account, creditor, or bureau for you.
Orion is not a CPA, attorney, financial adviser, lender, or credit repair organization. Nothing it produces is professional advice or a guaranteed outcome.
2. Where AI assists
- Document extraction — reading uploaded statements to suggest lender, balance, APR, minimum payment, due date, and tax year.
- Financial analysis — summarizing cash flow, payoff timelines, and month-end forecasts from numbers you provided.
- Credit guidance — explaining utilization math and suggesting a sequence of actions to consider.
- Dispute letters — drafting text you review, edit, approve, and send yourself.
- Tax organization — grouping records into categories to make a conversation with your tax professional easier.
- Conversation — answering questions about your own data inside Orion Chat.
3. Where AI does not replace professionals
- Orion is not a certified public accountant and no CPA relationship is created by using it.
- Orion is not a law firm or attorney and no attorney–client relationship is created.
- Orion is not a registered investment adviser, broker, or financial planner, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created.
- Orion is not a lender, loan broker, credit repair organization, or debt settlement company, and does not lend money, negotiate with creditors, or repair credit on your behalf.
Tax filing, legal disputes, investment decisions, bankruptcy, and creditor negotiation all require a qualified human professional. Orion's output is preparation material for those conversations.
4. Confidence scoring
When Orion extracts data from a document it records a confidence score describing how certain the model was about the fields it read.
- High confidence still means “verify it” — statement layouts vary and numbers can be misread.
- Low confidence fields are surfaced for review before they influence any strategy.
- Confidence describes extraction certainty. It is not a prediction of financial results.
5. Human review
- Extracted bills are editable, and you confirm or correct them before they drive plans.
- Dispute letters require your explicit approval before you send anything.
- Plans, payoff strategies, and allocations are proposals you accept or ignore.
- No AI output triggers a payment, a filing, or a communication with a third party.
6. How processing works
- AI features run through a managed AI gateway using third-party models; relevant excerpts of your data are sent for processing when you use a feature.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use your financial records to train public models.
- AI responses are generated fresh from your current records; Orion also stores milestones you have reached so guidance stays consistent over time.
7. Known limitations
- Models can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken.
- Poor scans, unusual statement formats, and handwritten notes reduce extraction quality.
- Projections assume the inputs you provided stay true; real life changes them.
- Orion has no live connection to your bank, card issuer, or credit bureau; it knows only what you enter or upload.
8. Your controls
- You choose when to upload a document or ask for an analysis.
- You can edit or delete any record Orion created from a document.
- You can request export or deletion of your data at privacy@ultimatebillorganizer.com.
